Islamorada Wedding | November 22, 2025
As an Islamorada wedding photographer, I had the joy of capturing Laura and Johnny’s wedding day in the Florida Keys. From the start, the day felt relaxed, joyful, and completely effortless. It was the kind of wedding that reminds you why Islamorada is such a special place to get married.
Their celebration took place at the beautiful Islander Resort. With palm trees, ocean views, and a warm island breeze, the setting was perfect. Laura and Johnny wanted a day that felt meaningful without feeling rushed, and that’s exactly what they created. The weather could not have been better, with sunny skies and that soft Florida Keys glow.
Throughout the day, there were so many genuine moments. Quiet smiles. Big laughs. Emotional reactions that happened naturally. Weddings in Islamorada tend to move at a slower pace, which allows couples to truly be present. Laura and Johnny embraced that energy and focused on enjoying every part of the day together.
As the celebration came to an end, they saved the best moment for last. They headed out onto the water for sunset photos on their boat. The sky turned golden as the sun dipped lower, reflecting off the ocean around them. It was peaceful, romantic, and full of joy. A true Florida Keys moment.
Ending their wedding day on the water felt like the perfect reflection of who they are. Relaxed. Fun. Fully in the moment. Photographing Laura and Johnny’s Islander Resort wedding in Islamorada was an absolute honor, and one I will always remember.
